Divisional Pharmacy Manager

Leading the pharmacy line team you'll make certain all pharmacies within your division comply with legal and ethical requirements, and that they have the resources to provide maximum patient safety and care.

You'll inspire, lead and develop your team, with expert patient care being at the top of every agenda. As a respected role model and effective coach, you'll ensure the best deployment of resources across the division. The relationships you build both internally and externally will help to influence and contribute to the development of business within your division.

Customer-led behaviour will show through in everything you do, proving that the customer is at the heart of all decision-making. You'll listen to customers and always strive to do more tomorrow than you have done today.

Regional Pharmacy Manager

You're the face of Boots UK to the healthcare world. You'll be an ambassador for Boots UK, representing the company at PCO and professional forums.

You'll own clinical governance of pharmacy within your region, ensuring all pharmacies are safe and effective. You'll lead development and implementation of pharmacy plans covering the PCOs within your boundaries. Shaping the pharmacy agenda and capitalising on the opportunities presented from the special relationship with PCOs, you'll translate company plans into action, and engage all teams with the pharmacy vision.

You'll help shape and develop property plans, particularly through knowledge gained from your local contacts, to ensure opportunities with GP surgeries and relocation of NHS contracts are captured and followed through.

Working with the area teams you'll ensure outstanding items and services performance against stretching targets. Key to sharing and implementing best practice around the region, you'll deliver pharmacy plans that maximise profit.

It's down to you to make sure Area Pharmacy Managers (APMs) are clear about what every person needs to deliver in the pharmacy plan. Developing the region's Pharmacists, you'll inspire them to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You'll ensure an efficient, friendly professional service in all stores. You're a role model for the 'customer-led' attitude, and you create a culture that's passionate about doing the right thing for customers, matching service provision to local needs.

Area Pharmacy Manager

You'll lead the pharmacy team in your area, ensuring all pharmacies operate ethically and legally, practising best practice and ensuring the right people are in the right place to guarantee patient safety and clinical governance.

Whilst identifying opportunities and areas for improvement, you'll ensure all stores within your area are proactive and positive to deliver the fastest, safest and best pharmacy service to our customers.

One of the most important parts of your job will be to spend as much time as possible with customers, getting close to them and learning how to match services to their needs. You'll be obsessed with our customers, finding out what they want and; through your team you will deliver a fantastic customer experience every time.

As a leader and manager you will develop the knowledge, skills and capabilities of the area pharmacy team so that the customer experience is enhanced. You'll also create strong relationships with other area pharmacy managers and Pharmacists across different store formats, ensuring Boots UK speaks with one voice to external bodies.
